HunJu received her Bachelor of Arts and her Doctor of Musical Arts form Rice University and her Master of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music. She has studied with some of the foremost pianists of our time incuding Russell Sherman, Gary Graffman, Richard Goode, Oxana Yabonskaya and John Perry.
HunJu has taught at Rice University, the New England Conservatory of Music, and the Institut Jaques Dalcroze and currently teaches at the Conservatoire Populaire in Geneva as well as maintaining her private studio in Genthod. She is active in preparing her students for examinations both at the Conservatoire and through the ABRSM program.
She has won several piano competitions, has performed solo, with orchestra and in chamber music groups in Europe and the United States. She is currently a member of a trio with Simone Flukiger, violin and Arthur Guignard, cello. She is a regular accompanist at the Verbier Music festival. She has recorded with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchcestra, toured with the City of London Sinfonia, appeared live on radio France Musique with Nobuko Imai, and has several other recordings and TV appearances to her name including the complete works of Poulenc for Woodwind and piano, under KLEOS Classics.

Laura Cantagalli
Piano, organ, voice, theory
With degrees in liturgical music, organ and composition from the Venice Conservatory, and certificates of higher studies and perfectionnement from the Geneva Conservatory as well as studies at the Institut Jacques Dalcroze for younger children, Laura has taught students of all levels from pre-school through the I.B. level in Venice, Geneva (Int’l. School of Geneva, College du Leman), St. Imier and Neuchatel. She has held positions of organist and choir director in prestigious churches and her administrative skills have led her to the positions at the College du Leman and as interim director of the Neuchatel Conservatory. Laura routinely prepares students for examinations including the ASBRSM. She has worked preparing opera singers on Italian diction in Geneva, Lausanne and Neuchatel and is a founding Director of the Vocal Ensemble Gallicantus. She is an accomplished concert performer and conductor, having directed numerous choirs and instrumental ensembles.
